Please note that local ordinances prohibit any racing or running of unmuffled engines prior to 9AM or after 5:30PM any day of the event. Racers may leave trailers overnight on Sunday. Race will continue to Monday if necessary.

Run order for Time Trials

We will make our best efforts to give every racer two time trials on Friday and one on Saturday. If the need arises, we will have a special session Saturday morning for the Race of Champions participants, and then fill in between ROC rounds with the remainder of competitors.
Pairings and Lane Assignments
Team Captains
Each team is allowed up to four (4) team captains. Team captains will handle any and all problems or discrepancies that one of their competitors may encounter. Only one team captain will be allowed in the tower at any one time. Any disputes must be brought to the event director by a team captain. Division Director will rule on an issues and have final say on such.
Summit Series Decals
Each competitor will be required to run the series decal for the duration of eliminations. Those not having the decal will not earn points for team or be eligible for any prizes or awards.
Contingency Decals
The NHRA Trailer will have a very limited supply of these. All racers are encouraged to have and/or get decals from the manufacturer prior to the event. Decals must be on vehicle for duration of eliminations. The contingency verification will take place after the race, but will be checked against photos from earlier rounds to see that decals were in place.
ET Finals Rules and Regulations
Pit Vehicles
Track operators are responsible for policing their teams pit vehicles for improper use and NO MOTORIZED PIT VEHICLES are allowed from 1 hour after racing has concluded until 1 hour prior to racing resuming the following day. All riders must be licensed and a minimum of 16 years of age.
Pit Areas
Each team will be designated a specific pit area. We ask that all participants curtail any noisy activities at 11PM on any night. Please also be respectful of the facility and use trash cans to dispose of any trash prior to leaving the facility.
National Dragster Team Spirit Award
This prestigious award will be given to the team that displays the best spirit based on these factors:
Pit area organization and decorations, overall conduct and sportsmanship in all areas of the facility, team display and support in the grandstands. Award winner will be decided by the NHRA Certification Team.
Special Awards
Will be given to the Best Appearing Vehicle in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Sled/Bike, and Jr. Dragster. Best Engineered and Best Appearing Crew will each be awarded to one racer on Sunday. The award recipients will be decided by the NHRA Certification Team.
High School Eliminator
Open to any student that has attended high school during the 2005 calendar year. A Complimentary NHRA Competition Number will be provided for these participants. High School racers will also be able to enter either Pro or Sportsman on Sunday. No Motorcycles or electronics allowed.
Jr. Dragster
Time Trials and eliminations will be conducted solely on Saturday at this event. Jr. Dragster will not be eligible to make runs during the test and tune on Thursday as well as any runs on Friday. Each track may send up to four drivers, with a minimum of one per category. Racers will be split into Lightning and Thunder classes based on ET and experience. The two category winners will face off at the conclusion of Saturdays activities for the right to display the #61 on their car for 2006.
Team Championship/Track Managers Challenge
Each participating track will be awarded one (1) point per round won in the four contested classes. The team with the highest point total will be crowned the Northwest Division Team Champions. Track Managers Challenge will award one point per round won on Saturday in all seven classes.
Race of Champions
Each track may send up to four representatives in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, and Sled/Bike and two representatives in High School. The winners of this race will be eligible to attend the NHRA Finals and compete for the Summit Racing Series National Championship.

Gambler Shootout
This race will pit the eight drivers in each of four categories that post runs closest to their dial-in during Friday time trials. Racers will face off Friday afternoon. A $25 entry fee is required and payout will be as follows (less 5%): Winner 50% of entry fees (less first round money)

Package Attack
Available to any racer that pays the $15 entry. This will be a "one shot" run for the money. Each participating driver must display a dial in on the vehicle and ensure that the dial in is on the scoreboard prior to making the run. The total package (RT and ET) will be calculated and the racers posting the best package will be awarded as follows (less 5%):
