TEAM POINTS START
The points will be awarded in the following manner.
ENTRY 1 POINT - POINTS PER ROUND 1 POINT – BONUS POINTS
FOR WIN 2
Example: if a racer should win a 4 round race, the
driver would receive the following
points,
ALL PIR RACING
CATEGORIES:
• Entry is defined as paying to compete, the driver is
present, and the vehicle passes
tech.
• Points cannot be transferred from class to class,
points will be earned only for the class
registered.
• There will be NO team racing in any classes.
• If you break before the first round of elimination’s,
you must notify the tower, in
writing, before you leave the facility. If you fail to
do so you will lose your Entry points
for the night.
• Points will be calculated by our Compulink Timing
System. It is ultimately the
competitors responsibility to insure the accuracy of
all points that are listed.
• Competitors may at any time request in writing an
audit of their points.
2010 Competitors (1) one of your lowest scoring race
will be taken away from points total.
• Competitors must purchase a permanent NHRA Competition Number & Membership before
team
race.
• To be eligible for yearend payouts you must be signed
up for appropriate points series,
and have a registered number.
Tie’s will be settled with a run off.
Points go toward track championship, and team
formation.
If you race for another team you forfeit track
championship.
Team formation will began in early Aug. It is up to
you the racer to tell the Track
Manager of your intent in person or by phone (503)

SERIES will officially
begin
officially end Aug.18, 2010. In the event of a rain out
or a cancellation, the points event
will be rescheduled for the next week race.
All drivers are
required to pay a $15.00 registration fee which includes points
registration, ETI or
YTI tech inspection.
2010 POINTS PROGRAM
RULES
1. Drivers and vehicles must meet all NHRA standard
rules.

3. During elimination’s you must dial within a tenth of
your class breaks.
4. The PIR points season will begin March 28, 2010 and
end Aug. 18, 2010.
5. Enrollment for the 2010 Points Program is done in
the tower at a cost of $15 per driver (class).
6. Drivers are advised to purchase a NHRA Competition Number
and NHRA membership. If a driver
chooses not to become a NHRA member, PIR will assign
the driver a permanent track number.
7. All car numbers, whether NHRA or PIR, shall be
permanently displayed on the drivers side of the
car (legibly) in order to be easily read by the tower
crew.
8. A driver may not drive more than one (1) car in the
same eliminator.
9. Transbrakes are only allowed in Super Pro, and Pro
classes.
10. Mufflers are required max 103db @ 50ft.
Cool Down Period – Our track officials will attempt to provide adequate
cool down time between
rounds. However, due to many constraints there may be a
need to impose a shorter cool down period on a case-by-case basis. All vehicles
must be prepared to enter the staging lanes and be ready to race within 10
minutes of the previous round unless otherwise directed. It is recommended that
all quarterfinalists, semi-finalists and finalists return to the staging lanes
immediately upon completing their run. Please conduct all of your between round
maintenance and cool down in the lanes. Our track announcer will make an “on
deck” call to inform drivers that the need to get ready. We will then make a first
call to the lanes, one minute later a second call to the lanes will be made and
one minute later a last call will be made followed by the closing of the
staging lanes.
