While heading for the 32 Funny Car event in 1977, I noticed this big 4 1/2' X 5 1/2' cardboard billboard at the end of the Delta Park exit. As you can see, at the bottom is a felt pen arrow directing you toward PIR. I also noticed that it was placed over the city's directional sign, and thereby blocking the city sign. Since it is illegal to cover up a city sign, I felt it was my civic duty to remove the offending poster.
